This Privacy Policy explains how Muvick ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, mobile apps, and related services (the "Service").

Muvick is a movie and TV prediction game built around slates. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address (and a password if you choose one, stored in hashed form). You may also add a username, display name, bio, and avatar.

Gameplay data: We store your slate entries and picks, points and XP ledger activity, theater and cosmetic purchases, and profile customization choices.

Technical data: We may collect IP address, user agent, device and browser type, approximate location derived from IP, and session identifiers needed to keep you signed in.

Communications: If you contact us, we keep the content of that correspondence and associated contact details.

We use your information to create and manage accounts (including sending transactional email such as sign-in links and address verification); run slates, scoring, points, and XP; personalize your profile and theater; provide customer support; maintain security and prevent abuse; improve the Service; and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Public profile: If you set a username, parts of your profile (such as display name, bio, theater, masteries, and prediction stats) may be visible to others on your public profile page.

Service providers: We use trusted vendors to host infrastructure, databases, authentication, and related operations. They process data only on our instructions.

Legal and safety: We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Muvick, our users, or the public.

Business transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and operate the Service securely. See our Cookie Policy for more detail.

We keep account and gameplay data for as long as your account remains active and as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal requirements.

You can delete your account from Profile on the website or in the apps. Deletion removes your account and associated personal data from our systems, except records we are legally required to keep. Slates you created as staff may remain, without your name attached.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including hashed passwords and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update much of your profile information in the app.

To delete your account, open Profile and choose Delete account. That starts deletion immediately after you confirm your email (and password, if you use one). You can also email hello@muvick.com if you cannot access the app; we may need to verify your identity first.

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where we do, we take steps designed to protect your information in accordance with this Policy and applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
