Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Muvick's website, apps, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or appear compromised.

Muvick lets you enter slates — prediction cards about upcoming movies and TV titles — earn virtual points and experience (XP), appear on leaderboards, and customize a shareable theater profile.

We may change, pause, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Points, XP, theater items, cosmetics, and similar rewards are virtual and have no cash value. They are licensed to you for use only within the Service, are not transferable outside Muvick, and cannot be redeemed for real money, prizes of monetary value, or other consideration unless we expressly say otherwise in writing.

We may adjust balances, award rates, costs, or inventory for gameplay balance, abuse prevention, error correction, or operational reasons.

Slates follow a lifecycle (for example: open, locked, resolved). Entries are only accepted while a slate is open and before its lock time. After you enter, you may update picks while the slate remains open without paying the entry cost again, unless we state otherwise for a specific event.

Scoring, XP multipliers (including early-bird bonuses), and awards are determined by our systems and rules. We may correct obvious errors. Official results and scores are final except where we choose to adjust them in good faith.

Muvick is a skill and prediction entertainment product. It is not gambling, and virtual points are not a form of real-money wagering.

You retain ownership of content you submit (such as display name, bio, and avatar), but you grant Muvick a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the Service.

Do not post content that is illegal, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or otherwise objectionable. We may remove content or restrict profiles at our discretion.

You agree not to: cheat, exploit bugs, or use bots or automated means to play; create multiple accounts to abuse rewards; harass others; reverse engineer or disrupt the Service; scrape data except as allowed by law; or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

Violation may result in loss of points/XP, suspension, or termination without notice.

Muvick, its branding, software, and original content are owned by us or our licensors. Movie and TV titles, artwork, and related marks belong to their respective owners. References to titles or studios do not imply endorsement.

This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our materials except as needed for personal, non-commercial use of the Service.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that predictions, scores, or third-party information (including title metadata) will be accurate or complete.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MUVICK AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF POINTS, XP, DATA, GOODWILL, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us (if any) in the three months before the claim, or (b) USD $50.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Delete your account from Profile on the website or in the apps to remove your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your license to use virtual items ends, and sections that by nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
